Daniel Davis

Daniel Davis is a teacher of Piano, Drums/Percussion, Brass, Harmony Roads, Composition and Music Technology here at Cornerstone. He was awarded the George Delerue Scholarship for film music, Daniel graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston with honors and degrees in music composition and film scoring. In his early career Daniel began playing jazz trumpet and piano, going on as a drummer to tour with bands such as The
Penguins, Painting Over Picasso and Dissidents. Daniel has worked in film music as a composer, arranger and editor for numerous projects and as has assisted composers such as Andrea Morricone, Lawrence Shragge and Christopher Young. Daniel is the resident music instructor at New World Montessori school in Culver City. He also serves as the Buddhist Chaplain at USC and helps train mindfulness facilitators at UCLA.
